Our next guest played an iconic role as King Theoden in The Lord Of The Rings film series. When first introduced, Théoden is weak with age and sorrow and the machinations of his top advisor, Grima Wormtongue and he does nothing as his kingdom is crumbling. Once roused by Gandalf however, he becomes an instrumental ally in the war against Saruman and Sauron.
He also plays the role of the Captain in one of the biggest blockbusters of them all: James Cameron’s Titanic. And if that wasn’t enough he plays the role of Philos next to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the classic: The Scorpion King. Whether we are thinking of the iconic speech of King Theodon in Lord Of the Rings or the true heroic role of a captain who tried to save all of his passengers on his sinking ship but died trying, all can agree these incredible roles left no spectator untouched. It’s truly a great honour to welcome the one and only Bernard Hill at Comic Con Brussels 2020!
