We are of course talking about Ryan Hurst! His big break came when he was cast as Opie Winston in the FX crime drama series Sons of Anarchy. Originally a recurring cast member in the first season, he was promoted to main cast member for the following season and went on to become a fan favorite. In the series he is Jax’s best friend and partner in crime and though he appears a gentle giant, he will do anything to protect Jax and the club. After Sons of Anarchy, Ryan was cast as one of the baddies in the hit series The Walking Dead that goes by the name of Beta!
