Everyone knows our next guest because chances are you’ve seen him in a movie or TV show, whether you realized it or not! If you don’t know him as the brother of Julia Roberts or the father of Emma Roberts, you definitely know him from one of his and this is not a typo over 700 (!) film and television roles across five decades.

One that truly stands out is of course his leading role in the action classic Best of the Best, which even earned him a spot later on in The Expendables. Or maybe you remember him as Gotham mob boss Maroni in The Dark Knight, sharing the screen with Heath Ledger and Christian Bale. Let’s not forget his Oscar nomination for Runaway Train, or his cult status alongside none other than Mickey Rourke in The Pope of Greenwich Village.

He also starred as Victor Geddes in The Coca Cola Kid, as The Master in the Doctor Who TV movie, or hilariously spoofed himself in The Cable Guy. On top of that, Eric Roberts is a true horror and cult icon thanks to his countless genre films such as The Human Centipede III, Sharktopus, Caroltyn, Heretics, Stalked by My Doctor, The Ambulance, Wrongful Death 2… the list goes on and on.
