Monday March 10th (MAR10) it’s officially Mario Day! Woohoo!
And to celebrate this, we have great news because the one and only Mario is coming to Comic Con Brussels 2025!

He is a legend in the gaming industry and loved by all gamers, as he shaped the most famous gaming character in all the world. We are talking about Charles Martinet who we know as the voice of Mario from Nintendo’s game Super Mario Bros.

What followed after he became Mario was an incredible worldwide hype followed by so many games and merchandise.
Every generation worldwide knows the cheerful typical voice of the universe’s most famous plumber. Woohoo Let’s Go!

But he also voiced the voices of Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Toadsworth, Baby Mario, Donkey Kong and Baby Luigi.

Another well-known character voiced by him is the dragon Paarthurnax, from the renowned computer game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

And as icing on the cake of this incredible career, the theatrical film The Super Mario Bros. Movie came out in 2023 and Martinet voiced Mario and Luigi’s father Giuseppe.
This movie was another huge success and a nice culmination of more than 30 years of giving the world Mario.
