Warwick Davis
Star wars - Return of the jedi
The next guest has been on our wishlist for such a long time and we are so happy and proud to announce him today.
Even though some may think our next guest is small in stature, we consider him a real giant of a guest at Comic Con Brussels 2020 when we take a look at his career. Where do we start? Because he really did so much for Geek Culture througout the decades. Okay let us tart in 1982 when his career takes a rocket flight in a galaxy far away when George Lucas personally chooses him as a leading role in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi as the best known Ewok of them all: Wicket The Ewok! Since that particular day in 1982 he has never left the Star Wars Universe again and he has several roles in (takes a deep breath) The Phantom Menace, The Force Awakens, Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Last Jedi, of course the two Ewok Movies as Wicket and Star Wars Rebels.
I already hear you think: so he’s a very big Star Wars guest?
But it doesn’t stop there. He does almost the same in the series of Harry Potter films where, in addition to the major role of Griphook, he also plays the role of Professor Flitwick and a well-known Goblin Bank Teller. Not enough main roles yet?
We are just getting started.
He also plays the lead role Willow alongside Val Kilmer in the 80’s Fantasy Classic: Willow and the lead role of the Leprechaun in Leprechaun in all 4!!! Leprechaun Horror movies.
He is also the depressed robot Marvin in The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy, Sniff in Moominvalley, Porridge in Dr. Who, Nikabrik in The Chronicles Of Narnia, a Goblin in Labyrinth, ..
We would almost forget to mention he has a great sense of humor and comic timing and can really put himself into perspective and we can see that in the hitseries: Life’s Too Short in which he plays an exaggerated version of himself alongside Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
If you have not been able to guess it by now, I fear that you have been stuck on the Forest Moon of Endor way too long because we are ofcourse talking about one of our main guests at Comic Con Brussels 2020: the inimitable, lovable and awesome: Warwick Davis!!!
