At Comic Con Brussels we try to aim for the stars. This year we have something really, really special for you : A true Comic Con LEGEND! This actor portrayed not only one, but two legendary lieutenants in two even more awesome series. We’re of course talking about DIRK BENEDICT(USA) aka Lieutenant Templeton “Faceman” Peck in THE A-TEAM and Lieutenant Starbuck in the original Battlestar Galactica. He’ll be there both days at Comic Con Brussels 2017 and he’s bringing his A-Team van and Corvette with him!

Sam Jones
Flash! A-haaaaa! Sam Jones(USA) is coming to save the universe at Comic Con Brussels 2017! Sam Jones is best known for his legendary role as Flash Gordon in the 1980’s classic movie…well… Flash Gordon! He’s also known as The Highwayman in The Highwayman,a legendary series that was a cross between Mad Max and Knight Rider, where he took on enemies with his truck that could turn into a helicopter. Apart from that Sam is known for his hilarious cameo’s in the movies Ted and Ted 2 alongside Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Seth Macfarlane. We guess Queen’s Freddie Mercury said it best : “He’ll save everyone of us!”

Julian Glover
The career of JULIAN GLOVER(UK) spans over decades. The youngest Geeks will know him as Grand Maester Pycelle from all seasons of the legendary hit series Game Of Thrones. The Geek New Schoolers will know him as the voice of the giant spider Aragog from the Harry Potter movies. The Geek Veterans will know him as Walter Donovan from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and the real Geek Old Skoolers will know him as General Veers from Star Wars : The Empire Strikes Back. He didn’t choose poorly this time and he’s coming to Comic Con Brussels!

FEMI TAYLOR(UK) portrayed Oola in one of the most legendary scenes of the Star Wars franchise. Who doesn’t remember the Twi’lek Oola, Jabba’s slave, dancing for his pleasure in Star Wars : Return of the Jedi, moments before being devoured by the Rancor? Fifteen years later, Star Wars creator George Lucas personally decided to refilm the shots of Oola for the Special Edition of the Star Wars trilogy. All-new scenes were filmed for the Special Edition and Femi is such a fantastic actress that even the biggest fans can not see the difference between the scenes that were filmed then and 15 years before…

Bob Gunton
BOB GUNTON(USA) is most known for playing one of the leading roles in the number 1 top movie on IMDB’s ranking : The Shawshank Redemption. It’s almost impossible to sum up all the amazing roles he played, but here is quite a selection : He portrayed Ethan Kanin in the hit series “24” ; As Chief George Earle in the Stallone-Snipes movie Demolition Man ; Burton Quinn next to Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura : When Nature Calls and most recently in Marvel’s Netflix Daredevil. He also played Cyrus Vance in the Oscar winning movie Argo.

It’s the 15th anniversary of Donnie Darko, the instant cult-classic that only gained popularity through the years!

Anna Brewster played Bazine Netal in last years Star Wars: The Force Awakens, were she gave away the hideout of Han Solo and BB-8 and called in the First Order troops with her monstrous partner in crime Grummgar. Anna also has a main role in the new hitseries Versailles.

Han shot first, or did he now? You can ask our next guest, because we are so overjoyed to announce PAUL BLAKE(UK). He is of course most well known for his role as the legendary Greedo, Jabba the Hutt’s bountyhunter, in the memorable Mos Eisley Cantina scene with Han Solo, where we all still wonder “Who really shot first?”. “Klop Jabba poo pah. Rhoda Montemayor
RHODA MONTEMAYOR(UK)’s premiere role was as Tiger Lily in the Peter Pan movie “Finding Neverland” starring Johnny Depp, but we mostly recognize her as Rose Ortiz the Pink Power Ranger from Power Rangers Operation Overdrive! The Dutch speaking fans will also know her as Julita from the hit series “Eigen Kweek”. It’s Morphin’ Time!

Andy Herd
Andy Herd(UK) is an actor who’s best known for his role as one of the Goblins in the memorable Gringotts Bank of the Harry Potter franchise. Andy Herd has so much to tell about the film industry that we love, as he’s also been one of the legendary Ewoks and Jabba’s Jawa servant in Star Wars, one of the Goblin Corps in Labyrinth with David Bowie, one of Harry Potter’s Gringotts Bank Goblins, … An actor of many talents!

Michael Carter
Our next guest has an iconic role in Star Wars : Return Of The Jedi as Jabba The Hutt’s consigliere. Yes, boys and girls, Michael Carter(UK) aka Bib Fortuna is coming to Comic Con Brussels 2017! He played the majordomo for one of Star Wars’ most notorious crime lords : Jabba The Hutt. He was the one who let in C-3PO and R2-D2 with the Luke Skywalker hologram and the one who was Jedi Mind tricked by Luke Skywalker himself! “Die Wanna Wanga!” – Bib Fortuna.

O-Lan Jones
“I can’t believe you sheep have strayed so far from the path of righteousness!” said Esmeralda, the conservative neighbour of Edward Scissorhands(who answers “We’re not sheep!”). She is played by our fantastic next guest : O-Lan Jones(USA)! Also known for her support role in the cult movie Mars Attacks as Sue-Ann Norris, the shotgun wielding trailer park mom of Jack Black’s character who gets killed by the aliens in her trailer. Most recently she played Shelly in Tim Burton’s new movie Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.

Ken Colley
Our next guest played a memorable role in the legendary Star Wars series. He was initially a captain, but he got promoted to Admiral after Darth Vader killed Admiral Ozzel. That was the legendary Captain…Oh no!…Admiral Piett aka the fantastic Ken Colley(UK) who’s coming to Comic Con Brussels! He also played Jesus in Monty Python’s classic comedy “Life Of Brian” and in Terry Gilliam’s cult classic “Jabberwocky”.

Guy Siner
“Would you like to come for a ride in my little tank?” he always asked. Well, maybe you can on Comic Con Brussels 2017! No, not Clarence, but Allo Allo’s real Lieutenant Hubert Gruber aka Guy Siner(UK) is coming to Comic Con Brussels 2017! Everybody remembers Gruber from his general silliness with René from the café and his fantastic humor in the “Allo Allo” series!

Garrick Hagon
Garrick Hagon(UK) is best known for his role as Biggs Darklight in Star Wars : A New Hope as Luke Skywalker’s best friend on Tatooine and he fought as a Rebel Alliance pilot in the Battle of Yavin. He assisted Luke Skywalker in the destruction of the Death Star I and died heroically. Hagon is also known for his roles as Ky and Abraham in Doctor Who, the Denver Reporter in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and very recently as John Foster Dulles in the Netflix hit-series The Crown.

There are only a handfull of artists that have created a world where hundreds upon thousands
can dream away in. You had Hergé with Tintin, Peyo with his Smurfs, JK Rowling with Harry Potter and Stan Lee with his Marvel Universe. Not much difference with what this artist did from
his little studio at the beginning of the eighties. He plunged you into a world of skateboards, pizza, martial arts, mutants and sexy reporters with the dark streets of New York City as background.
Now, more than 30 years later, these characters are world famous! We are of course talking about KEVIN EASTMAN(USA), the creator and writer of THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES! Only European appearance in 2017 and he chose Brussels! Cowabunga, dude!

Stephen B Scott
Stephen B. Scott(USA) is a Comic Book artist who illustrated so many good titles, it’s almost impossible to sum them all up, but here’s quite an impressive selection : Batman, X-Men Forever, Batman Confidential, Marvel Adventures Hulk and many more. Having worked for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image, Dark Horse, IDW and Titan Comics he’s got an impressive track record! Stephen was selected by Christopher Nolan to draw the only adaptation to the Oscar winning film Batman the Dark Knight. To top it all off, that same year, George Lucas approved him to be the artist for Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods. Much of the art from the series was purchased by Mr. Lucas himself and is now part of his permanent collection. Wow, impressive!

NICOLE MARIE JEAN(USA) one of the most famous cosplayers of the entire planet! From her home in San Diego, home to the largest Comic Con in the world, this cosplayer made fame by creating more than 50 cosplay costumes. With her funny, outgoing and crazy personality she built a fanbase of more than 2 million followers on Facebook and travels the world meeting them! She will also be a judge in our legendary cosplay contest!

Anna “Ormeli” Moleva
ANNA “ORMELI” MOLEVA(RUS) is a Russian cosplayer. She was so good at cosplaying Elizabeth from Bioshock that she got chosen by the makers of the game as the “Official Face of Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite”. She resembles Elizabeth so much that she has been used as a Face Scan and for all the promotional work around Bioshock Infinite. She won the Miss Gamer award in 2012 and has cosplayed dozens of characters and keeps working on new ones. She’ll be present on Comic Con Brussels both days and will be a judge in our Cosplay Contest!

Viki’s Cosplayology
Viki is not a stranger to the convention world and you’ll surely recognize her from her amazing cosplays, but did you know she also gives some really interesting panels? Well, on Comic Con Brussels 2017 you’ll be able to experience one first hand : She’ll teach you all the tips and tricks on how to paint your own armor and props in her Armor Painting panel!

On popular demand because of his legendary show last year, we are so happy to announce : BERNARD MINET(FR), the man who literally wrote the soundtrack to the youth of a whole generation, is coming back to Comic Con Brussels! Who doesn’t remember watching Club Dorothée and loving the intro to Bioman, Les Chevaliers Du Zodiaque, Dragon Ball Z, … Bernard Minet is doing a Live show with these blasts from the past and party tracks at Comic Con Brussels. Let’s party like it’s 1989!
Chaos Controllers
Chaos Controllers(BE) are a pair of fakebit posers here to spoil your local chipscene(their words!).
Robin Neefs and Sanne Werkers aim to fuse the sound of 8bit with more modern sounds, in order to create a full-blown party atmosphere with a touch of nostalgia.
Using not only emulated chipsounds, but also blatantly stolen videogame samples and hi-quality drums, they explore the twilight zone between chiptune, drum n bass, core, dub, dubstep and much more!
Sabrepulse(UK)
Sunday there will be a concert of the one and only Gameboymaestro SABREPULSE (UK). A chiptune musician who is often cited as being one of the pioneers of the genre known as chipbreak, a fusion of 8 bit music and breakcore.

Comic Con Brussels is known for our fantastic Q&A’s and this year won’t be different. Here to entertain you with witty and interesting questions is Alex Agnew! This fantastic comedian and vocalist of the Belgian Heavy Metal band Diablo Blvd will be your host, ringmaster and MC at Comic Con Brussels 2017!
Matthew Highton
Joining forces with Alex Agnew to host Comic Con Brussels 2017 is Matthew Highton(UK). Matthew is a British comedian and filmmaker known for his surreal storytelling. He’s been part of the alternative comedy collective Weirdos that performed crazy panto’s over the years. He is also the counterpart of last year’s host Eric Lampaert(UK) in the Comedians Cinema Club!

This Belgian Youtuber got famous with his alias MojoOnPc combining his great sense of humour with his gaming skills. This gamer is the most famous Belgian Youtuber on the net with almost 1 million followers and he’ll be at Comic Con Brussels to perform signings, photo ops and 1VS1 CS:GO matches!
